Hear the Voices - The Kenya We Want Post-2015
Many consultation processes are happening on the post-2015 development framework, but too few of these consultations are specifically aimed at gathering the voices of the grassroots. It is vital that the most powerful decision makers who will eventually determine the nature of the new framework hear the voices and experiences of those who it is targeted at. Women for peace in DRC and CAR
The primary objective of the workshop in Goma, DR Congo, was to sensitize women leaders, grassroots women's organisations and peace activists, with knowledge and understanding of team dynamics, peace negotiations and lobbying to enable them to engage effectively in the short and long term processes of peace building and post conflict reconstruction. Read report, communiqué and testimonies.
